Finally got on board!!!

Hi all,

Finally got on board, such a fantastic site full of so much!!!  I have lived in the UK since April 2003. Came here from California (God do I miss it!) cuz I have my parents living here and getting on in age, a brother I need to get to know, half-sisters also.  I am not a stranger to the UK as I visited often in the 80's during Christmas breaks...

I am a GIS professional working here on an HSMP visa, have been involved in some pretty interesting and large scale projects all over the UK.  I joined this forum last year but I did not really engage and introduce myself as life got too busy and web access was limited for me then. 

I hope to develop friends through this forum and keep my USA torch lit brightly. This is truly a fantastic forum.
