Highchairs part 2
« on: January 24, 2005, 09:11:34 PM »
Has anyone got/had one of these? I had a look at one in Mothercare at the weekend and it seems sturdy, has a 5 point harness and not too many crevices plus folds up flat  ... just wondering if anyone else has bought one and what they think of it

cheers

It looks very similar to my Toys R Us one. Actually Im in the market for a new one. My fold up one doesnt exactly fold up flat. It closes a few inches but not really enough to stash away anywhere. I figure if I have to have a high chair out in the open then I might as well get a nice well presented one. Im looking for a wooded one with a washable cushion cover.
This one from Mothercare, have you tried to fold it up? How flat does it fold? Space is a major issue in our house. I wanted a highchair that would fold flat enough to perhaps stash behind a door.

I didn't actually try and fold it ... good point! I was just going by the instruction manual they had in the shop, it had a pic of it folded almost completely flat.  The other one I like the look of because it folds up really flat is a Cossatto one from Kiddicare:

But I don't know anywhere round here that stocks it and not sure if I want to buy it without seeing it "in the flesh" as it were.

And this Cossatto one folds up even smaller

I was originally going to go for a wooden one but I thought the padded seat kind might be more comfy and it's hard enough keeping Ethan in one spot as it is.

Wow, those dont look like they would fold flat at all. This is the one I bought three years ago for Coby. I got it because it specifically stated it folded flat and stored away easy. This one is actually more attractive than Cobys if you can believe it. Three years ago they were lime green. YUCK
