confused about my french/US citizenship

Hi...I plan on moving to the UK in the next 6 months.  My boyfriend is Austrian, living in the UK, and I have dual US/French citizenship.  I have my French passport, and any proof needed to show that my parents are indeed both French, etc.  However, I have never lived in Europe--I was born in the US, and have lived here ever since.  Do I qualify as an EU citizen, thereby making it relatively easy to live/work in the UK?  Or do I fall in some weird loophole?

Yes, very simple, you can live and work in any EU country.  In the UK you just have to get a National Insurance number when you get here, but that's no big deal, most people get one when they get their first job or while job hunting.

Or, quicker, go to your local Job Centre and apply for jobs there.  They'll get you on the road to getting your National Insurance (NI) number.  I went in there once when I was applying for a seasonal job, and the place was full of EU nationals applying for jobs.
