New York to London
« on: February 09, 2005, 07:42:11 PM »
Hi -- I'm Mary.  25.  Grew up in the Bay Area, CA, went to Middlebury College in Vermont, currently reside in Manhattan where I've lived the last three years.  Work in public television.  Am in a long-distance relationship with PhD student at Oxford.

Looking to move to London as soon as possible from New York.  Right now I'm busy emailing everyone I can who works in television over there in the hopes I'll get some job leads.  I'm lucky to be a dual-citizen -- so at least I don't have that hurdle to jump over.

Looking forward to meeting some similar people through this forum.

Best,
Mary

Hi Mary and welcome!  Good for you for working for such a great organization!  I'm afraid I don't know much about the industry in either country.  I hope you are able to make the connections you need.  If we can help let us know!

Welcome to UKY!!!  I lived in NJ and worked in midtown Manhattan (Times Square) before moving to London.  I'm a dual citizen as well.
