Planet Talk have lowered their rate to the USA to 2.5p per minute. If you get their anyphone prepaid plan, you can dial an access number from any phone line to use it. No other charges. Handy if you travel. You can also use it from your mobile but I don't know what the charges on the call from the mobile companies might be. I haven't tried it. When I moved I had to make a quick call to the USA from my mobile without any savings plan at all, and it was 50p per minute.  :o www.planet-talk.co.uk

Hey, I'm curious ... has any of you guys who use the 1899 service experienced an increase in telemarketing calls? I just had a quick read through their T&C and they state explicitly that they pass on customer information to 3rd parties! I bet they finance the cheap call rates by selling their customer database to other companies!?  :o
