where to shop?
« on: February 15, 2005, 02:53:38 PM »
Where are good places to shop for kids clothes? When in the US I loved shopping at Gap Old Navy Gymboree and The childrens Place.

Thanks Oana

Not sure where you live but we have a Gap/Baby Gap here in Coventry. Also Adams is good.

I think ASDA has some very cute baby/toddler things (I'm all about cheap baby clothes...or I will be when I have a baby!).   ;)

Mothercare, John Lewis, M&S all have nice baby clothes, but are more pricey.
Asda and some of the larger Tescos sell baby clothes too, reasonable too =)
and Ebay is also a good place to look :)

My husband has a super knack of hitting Baby Gap during their sales.  We pick up a lot of Niall's clothes during their sales.

As a side note, Niall just came over to the PC as I was posting and saw the pictures of Calvin.  He pointed at it and said, "Niii, Niii!" That's his way of saying his name.  He so used to seeing his pictures on my PC that he thinks all babies are him!
Insert wonderfully creative signature here …

Some larger branches of Boots have a range called Mini Mode which is really cute. You can also get Osh Kosh from the Boots website.  Woolworths has babies & kids clothes - some nice, some nasty. Next also has kids clothes and  Baby Gap sales are great.

i've hated everything i bought for philip through the vertbaudet catalogue - don't get it. their sizes are really weird. other good places to look: mothercare, blooming marvellous, jojo maman bebe, mackays, woolworths, and we liked the stuff at tesco as well.
I'm done moving. Unrepatriated back to the UK, here for good!

Cambridge has all the main chains mentioned here so you won't be short of cute kids clothes or or adult clothes come to that.  :)
