New York City!!!

The DH and I are going to the US from 27 April to 13 May. The last few days - probably 11-13, we are going to be in NYC. We don't need a place to stay (hopefully a friend's apt will be free). But just thought I'd ask some of you more familiar with the city what you might suggest if you had such a short time: restaurants, sights, hidden secrets, etc. I've been a few times but am hardly qualified to make all the choices!

I'm not feeling great right now, but give me a few days, I'll get some stuff together for you!  I'm heading there next week myself!!!!

What kinds of food do you guys like?

Island Burger...it's on 9th between 50th and 51st and has the best burgers.  We aren't talking fast food here -real "gourmet" burgers (there are like 30 kinds on the menu!) and they have the bessssssst seasoned potato chips.  OMG - go!  It's a good memory from our honeymoon!   ;D

(There are only about seven tables, so you might have to wait for a little while.)
