Our move to the UK is absolutely going to happen now, in just three weeks. We now know we'll be living in Norwich, and I'll be looking to make a living (I'll have full working rights). Textile Design involves creating those patterns you see on anything from paper towels. to greeting cards, to bedding, to upholstery, to fabric prints, to clothing embellishment, to designs on pottery, etc. etc. etc. I don't know whether there will be any actual jobs in this in the area, so I'm thinking of going freelance, creating my own line and selling it at markets, etc. Any suggestions on my best strategy?
