Ashley and Suzanne-- I think I  agree with both of you.. you both stated  my sentiments  exactly.. but sometimes I have  to laugh at myself  for the "english' phrases  I have  adopted and  noitice myself censoring it or having to explain what I said..   ;D ;D when I talk  to my US counterparts..

I am the frowsiest possible combination of the two nationalities. I love it here and feel like this is home and probably always will be, but I've got certain 'americanisms' ingrained in me, like The Bill of Rights, political power flows from the people upward to the politicians and not vice versa (in theory, in theory! But I know that I was brought up thinking I was the President's boss)

But I ain't no stranger here, that's for sure, and I'm very proud to be a British citizen!
