Can anyone convert UK video To US video system ?

Big high five to all the great peeps in here..

Just wondering if anyone has a multi-system video player ?

I have a single video (UK version) that i would like to convert to US system and mail it off to somone in the US.

I dont really want to invest on a multi system player as it will only be for this one time.
I always forget which one region is for PAL and which region is for SECAM...but anyway i am trying to convert from UK to US.

If anyone can help me convert it i would ofcourse pay for blank Video and mailing cost.

PS material on the tape is exactly 1 hour long ...it is historical documentary stuff from BBC.

I guess it was a typo then.
£16 sounds a bit to much to convert 1 hour's worth of converting.

I wills try craigslist and gumtree and see if i can find anything cheaper.

This is actually pretty easy to do on your computer.

I used to work for a company that makes a product called "Cleaner" (http://www4.discreet.com/cleanerxl/). You can convert PAL into NTSC or the other way around for that matter.

In many cases, software that can do this comes bundled with your computer.

Once you have it has a file, you can either burn it to a DVD or you can simply connect the video out from your video card to a VCR (a US VCR) and record it in NTSC for use back home.
