Since you both have work permits I wouldn't worry about it.
After getting off the plane you will go through passport control. Where they will check out your Visa, ask a few questions and you should be on your way to get your luggage.
Going through actual customs shouldn't be a problem... just go through where it says nothing to declare and if you do get stopped (which is rare.. got stopped once and it had a quick look, we chatted and I was on my way again) be honest and friendly and everything should be alright. Since you both have work visia's it won't be a surprise to the customs officer that you are bringing over tons of stuff.
