Support?

I've noticed how many people say they are either lonely, of finding it hard to adjust to being in the UK. I was wondering, besides online support, if anyone ever gets together with other expats in the UK. I am planning on relocating to London next year and wonder how many Americans are alreadythere and willing to take the time to help a countryman acclimate?

See the Gatherings and events board.  Quite often people are getting together.  Once you get to know a few, you may find yourself having some people you can hang out with on a more casual basis.  Best of luck with your move!

Yep, we get together quite often actually...but usually on an informal basis.  We're all really friendly folks once you get to know us!
