Just a quick word about LowCarbMegastore... I got some great stuff from them but their shipping costs were out of this world. I think it was £5.95. Anyway they forgot to add an item to my shipment and had to post it separately. The parcel only cost £1.30 to send! I feel they are ripping people off with inflated P&P charges. As it is I paid "fancy" prices for low carb items.

Just a note..Boots has Atkins baking mix as well as cereal bars which are VERY GOOD. The choco chip ones are only 2g of carbs. But they are very expensive. £4.99 for a box of 5. Also tried the Rolos and KitKat. Very good. I wouldnt have known the difference but again they are very expensive. £1.29 for the Rolos and .69p for a 2 wafer kitkat.

Wow, I was going to post about lo carb items and I found this instead. At least I know I can start my lo-carb program again. The one thing that gets me is the prices. 4.99 for a box of 5 Atkins bars? Yikes!!! I paid a little over $6 here the other day for the same box.  The one thing I will miss is going to GNC and getting all kinds of goodies. Hopefully it won't be as difficult as I first thought when I get there.

I really like it.  It's hard sometimes, but on the hard days I give in.  I was pretty strict for the first three months, those were the months I was in NY getting ready for my wedding.  Funny, I was kind of at a plateau around 2 months, I went to Boston for my hen do there and gorged at this fantastic family style Italian restaurant . (I still dream of the salads I had!!!)  I thought I had blown it, but in fact that binge helped kick start my metabolism somehow and I started to lose again.  Now I am a lot more lax, but I still don’t eat any white flour products or potatoes.  I have some sugar, in low fat ice cream and such, but that is it.  I snack a lot on Nuts, and they are very filling.  I also find I am less hungry during the day, and more energy for sure!!!  I am getting close to my low weight of 139 (I am 5’9”) which would be the lowest I have been in 10 years.  Not sure if I want to go that low though.  Now I need to start exercising and toning up.  Going to walk to work for most of that, which is about ½ hour each way.

OY!!!!  I just found this!  Hard to believe how much weight I put on after this!!!!  Oh well.

Since though I have ordered from lowcarbmegastore, and most everything I got was gross!  Especially food items!  The flavoured syrups and chocolates, sweets were all pretty good though!

Does anyone know anything about Advantedge Carb Control bars? I saw them in the store the other day, but hadn't heard of them before.

Just the regular ones they have out there or are they new?  I have some here, I have for breakfast at work, I love them!

Nope. I haven't tried many low carb 'convenience treats'. I've had low carb rolos and low carb nestle double chocolate and they were alright. How are the Atkins bars/shakes? When I eat out i only have the choice from Superdrug which has a small low carb section.
