Ok, first of all, YUCK! But second, dh speaks in rhyming slang sometimes and uses "telling a porkie" a lot. Porkie = pork pie = lie! Not a great wedding day sentiment! LOL.

Ok, the pork pie is disgusting.

But second, dh speaks in rhyming slang sometimes and uses "telling a porkie" a lot. Porkie = pork pie = lie!
AnneG, I really thought my b/f made that rhyming slang stuff up because I've never heard anyone else use it.  For example, with him, teeth are "hampsteads."  Hampstead Heath = heath = teeth.
What in the world?!!   ::)

I still have to stop and think sometimes to figure out what the heck dh is trying to say to me! LOL. He doesn't understand why I have such a hard time with it, either.  ::)

No no...pork pies are really good actually. If you can get by the name you got it licked! lol
It also depends on what brand you buy. Yummy!

I don't like pork pies ...but...I had a really yummy one up by the Lakes ..it was fresh and it had applesauce wedged in between the meat and pastry...when my MIL told me about it I thought "Yuck" but when I actually had it it was surprisingly yummy. I am not a cold gelatenous meat consumer person so the fact that it was nicely warm it tasted really good.
But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

or Cornish pasties?

That wouldn't be a bad idea, since the BF is Cornish. But last night he decided he'd rather have a three-tier tower of KFC.   [smiley=bleck.gif]
