what do tend to use for seasoning your meats? I tend to use Dunn's River mixed with chopped herbs or that New Orlean chef (forgot his name) seasoning blend...my mum sends me Accent or goya stuff but I tend not to use...what do you use as a seasoning?

I use 'krazy mixed up salt' that people kindly send me from the US.
And i use garlic grain pepper.... coarse ground black pepper with dried bits of garlic in it.   I've only ever seen this in Sainsburys.

I'm a nutmeg freak. I like it in nearly everything. I'm also partial to Mrs. Dash salt-free lemon pepper (which you can't get in the UK :( )

Ditto Stacey.  If I'm doing a nice piece of roast beef (oven roasted, not pot), then I'll cover the top with some garlic paste, cracked pepper and a few mixed herbs.

I use garlic pepper and the Sainsbury's mixed herbs (the usual suspects - rosemary, thyme, basil, et cetera).  I also use bay leaves.

I use garlic in almost everything, whether it's chopped or minced or whole.  We also eat it raw with certain meals.

I use garlic a lot especially if it's a roast but I tend to chop the garlic and mix it with some nice olive oil and herbs ..then rub that on the meats..garlic is yummy

I've seen garlic salt here.  Is it a special kind of garlic salt you are after?

It's some Mexican brand she buys.  I'm fine for now, though, thanks, as my sister brought over a huge jar of it when she was here in March.  Then, but the time I run out, my mom will be back over.  YES!

It is really good for fajitas.

I'm a garlic girl myself but ever since I've been here and married  I've been exposed to and use a lot more spices and  Even DH  thinks we need  another spice rack of some sort.. which brings me to  my next question.. I got a spice rack turnstile thing as a wedding gift and I  understand how to use most of them..actually the majority..but  how do you use  savory  and  whole caraway?  anyone have  any "brilliant ideas"?  (just thought of Blair  on facts of Life)  .. ;D
