For all you Texans...

For all you Texans in London, this may be old news...but the Texas Embassy Cantina is a great place to catch a little taste of Texas (both food and atmosphere).  Here is their website (www.texasembassy.com [nofollow] ).  They make a great margarita.  C ya at Happy Hour  ;D

Have you tried Cafe Pacifico yet?  The food is miles better than Texas Embassy and the gritas are better!  It's in Covent Garden.  ;)
Love your life, poor as it is. You may perhaps have some pleasant, thrilling, glorious hours, even in a poorhouse. The setting sun is reflected from the windows of the almshouse as brightly as from the rich man’s abode; the snow melts before its doors as early in the spring. Cultivate property like a garden herb, like sage. Do not trouble yourself much to get new things, whether clothes or friends. Turn the old; return to them. Things do not change; we change. Sell your clothes and keep your thoughts…

Kristi,

Thanks for the tip.  I'm new to London so I'm up for trying lots of new places.  I'll be back in London the second week of September, and then again the 3 and 4 weeks of September.  I'm renting a flat in Mayfair, and working near St. Pauls..so Pacifico should be relatively convenient to try.
