Health Insurance Restrictions
« on: May 31, 2007, 03:46:05 AM »
So I've been at my job a year now, so I'm eligible for the health insurnace  I called today to sign up and was then told myself and daughter would not be covered for any pre-existing medical conditions for the first 2 years. It concerns me a bit because of our conditions we have.

Is this the same with all health insurances???

there is at least one person on here who works for a health insurance company (wpa?)... i'm sure they'll chime in soon.

i'm on standard life supplemental health insurance.  they won't cover any pre-exisiting medical conditions or complications that arise from pre-existing medical conditions UNLESS I've been sympton free for 2 years.  sounds exactly the same as yours.
