I'm just listening to the 6pm news on Radio 4, and they're talking about a new study which links excess consumption Vitamin A with fragile bones in later life. They're (I missed the beginning, so I don't actually know who "they" are) recommending people limit their consumption of liver, pate, etc. to once a week. But the other part of it is that they're recommending people not take cod liver oil or any other liver-based (high in Vitamin A) supplements. I know lots of people who take cod liver oil tablets every day!
Has anyone heard about this study?
