Samsung D500/600

I've been doing a lot of research on mobiles as I'm looking to get a contract and go off pay as you go due to the fantastic deals available on the Web.
Right now I'm looking at the Samsung D500 on O2 which is going for £15/month for 12 month contract - free phone obviously.  I like O2 because they throw in lots of texts and voicemail for free even though Orange sometimes has slightly better offers.

Anyway, I'm eyeing the D500 but I see the D600 is coming out soon with a 2 megapixel camera and I'm not sure what else.  Does anyone have the D500 and have any comments good or bad?  Might it be worth waiting for the D600?  Having said that, the D600s might come out at rather expensive rates initially if they give it away free.

Rich has the D500.  He loves it!  Takes great pictures and videos as well.  I've never heard him complain about it at all and the battery seems to last a long time as well.

Cool, glad to hear that.  I'm going to look at the deals this month and see which website has the best.

Matt, any luck on finding a good deal on a D600?  I have heard that Vodafone and O2 should have them available by Saturday but there will not be a lot of fanfair because the D500s are still selling so well.

I heard from a review site that the D600 is coming out tomorrow.  There is a site called One Stop Phone Shop that is taking pre-orders but I expect
the websites to have them up on Friday or Saturday (or Monday the latest).  The only services I've seen so far picking them up are Vodaphone and Virgin.  I find that O2 and Orange almost always have the best deals so I'm hoping they jump in on the game (which I'm sure they will do quite quickly).
