Anyone read the Diet magazines like Slimming World?
« on: September 09, 2005, 11:17:51 AM »
Or am I the only geek here? I do find them such an inspiration with their before/after stories. And I like how the people are normal and end up at normal weights - no thin Minnies who could be on the cover of Elle. Just normal people.

They have really good diet recipes as well when I start losing the will to face another salad. :o

I took the WW magazine for about 18 months, but as I got closer to my WW goal (154) and realised I was doing okay without counting points, I quit getting it. I gave them to a charity shop. (Since I stopped doing WW per se and started doing the Firm, I have lost an additional half stone.)
