Hi Computer & Regent Park Q's

Hi .
  I've been here before with a few ? And have been given great advice. I'm moving in January 2006 to London and wanted to know about computers.Should I buy one here and get an adapter, or invest in one over there? Does anybody live in London? I'm going to work near Regents Park.My employer is giving me housing for 6 months and then I'm on my own.Does anyone have ideas where to live?     
     Does anyone live  near Regents Park? Has anyone else just moved here because you could? That's what I'm doing for at least 1 year.
