Resume to CV conversion service
« on: October 05, 2005, 08:40:15 PM »
Does anyone have any suggestions on a service that will convert my US resume to a CV targeted for the UK?  I am moving to the England in December and will be married in January and legal to work.  Since I know I will have a ton of stuff to do once I arrive I wanted to get a jump on things.  Any suggestions are welcome!!!!

I recently looked at Resumes for Dummies for converting my fiance's CV to a resume.  :)  It has examples of a CV that might be helpful in converting what you have already.  You may want to see if you can just do it yourself and save the money.

Thanks Liza.  I will take a look at it and see what I can figure out.  It is mostly the language difference that I want to make sure I am correct on.  Especially the Education section.  I know it is much different than the US so I want to put it in correct British standards.   ;D

I would recommend putting it in the right format then have someone proof read it for those types of differences.  Once you get it in the right format you are 99% there.

An even better idea.  Thanks so much for you help.  Looks as if I make the move December 16th.  Right around the corner.  Wow...... :o
