This is Jane of Dave~Jane (lol)
My story began in May 2004 when i stumbled into an AOL chat room and said Hi to everyone.
I got replies from a few of the people in the room and then everyone carried on with what they were talking about before.
Then this guy starts to talk to me about Music. We continue our talking in a private chat.
We talk about where we are from, our ages and the usual getting to know someone chit chat.
I find out he is from NY and is only a few yrs older than me and best of all, he was single.
After about a week of talking to him every day, I started looking for his name when i signed on.
He gave me his phone number as i said i would love to hear his voice.
We talked for about ½ hour on the phone.
To cut a long story short, 4 months later he came out to visit me.
A yr later and after a few visits and talking EVERY day on the phone for numerous hours at a time, He asked me to be his wife.
Of course, I accepted straight away.
But he says he wants to do it all properly.
He is coming back to visit me in Feb to propose on bended knee with the ring.
We have spoken about where and when to get married and he will be coming back to the UK as my Husband hopefully by the end of the year.
We decided it would be easier for us to get married in USA ( visa reasons )
I liked the idea of a Las Vegas wedding ( but not by Elvis )
I have already been looking at sites and locations and hopefully by the end of this year we will be Husband and Wife
Anyway, has anyone got any advice or info i would find helpful in getting this fairytale relationship into reality
