Hi folks

So here I sit, doing my e-fasttrack fiancee visa form.  woo hoo :) This packet of my fiance'ss documents smells like his flat and makes me miss him terribly.

I am at section 7. We met in June, and our relationship began before that. Via IRC and email and the phone. Should I put this just as it happened in the form?

Also has anyone else noticed that the e-fasttrack form gives you an utterly miniscule number of characters to explain things in when it asks you to do so, and restricts all sorts of special characters from one's entry? My abbreviations are extremely cryptic..

Just tell them exactly how it happened.  Always best to be honest.  :)    After all, you'd hate to get caught in a lie and have that mess up your chances!

As for the character limits....I didn't know about that.  Hmm...interesting.

Some of the explanation can be in your cover letter.

Don't worry they are used to internet relationsips. I think they only worry if you met on a mail order bride site! we certainly didn't find it a problem.

We put exactly how ours happened - Met in person at Heathrow Airport 3rd April, relationship started online 29th of January.  They should be used to it at this point I think.

We did the very same.  Had no problems at all.  We also included photos of us together.
