I got my visa approved!

I sent off my app on the 15th, sent supplementary stuff that arrived today, and I got an email from them today saying they approved my visa! I got an email about an hour ago with the approval, reference number and federal express tracking number.

Holy expeditious and high-quality service, Batman!

I was a nervous wreck, just because we met on the Net, I sent one picture, and I forgot proof of my current residence, etc. etc, and sent that.. check my earlier posts for details.

Thanks for all your help and words of reassurance, everyone.

garry, thanks for the model sample letters on your website. The lovely itemised lists on them were the models for my cover letter.

Now I get to worry about talking to my family, quitting work, moving my crap over/giving it away, and saying goodbye to my native land!

does this look like what you got? (Just being paranoid and making sure that this is the visa to stay in the UK with, not the one for tourists getting married. I'm pretty sure not as it's multiple entry. And then I have to get another visa after we;'re hitched, yes?)

Are you sure it's valid for a year? I got my fiance visa from Chicago a couple of days before you and it's only good for 6 months exactly. Everything else is the same though.
