We just purchased a car and insurance. While reading through the insurance coverage it says that we are covered while driving another car so long as we did not purchase or hire the car. Is this standard on all auto insurance policies? In the US, generally your auto insurance covers you when using a rental car.
Does everyone just purchase the insurance when you rent a car?
