it's Diwali and eid so you'll probably hear fireworks because of that.

Yep, next week is my new year and you will definitely hear fireworks.

You should see Phil's he's got the magician's outfit he looks cute in it..but I am trying to find bunnies to attach to the suit ...I managed to find prop knives for my costume but I don't want the fake blood ruining the pink costume (I need the costume for our breast cancer event!!)

Alicia, how did it go last night?  I'm curious to hear how your night went..

Mine was very successful with the boys and we did very well and what's more, they were so happy and jolly by the end of the evening...it seems to have caught on just a tiny bit more this year.  However, my boss, she of the upper classes, felt the need to give me a speech about how it's considered begging and vulgar to most brits..... I just smiled sweetly and said nothing...

lol! I would have said "so is being pretentious" and smiled away ;D

Ah it went well she had her own little party on Sunday and there were about 6 kids and they enjoyed their own company they didn't play with any of the games I bought...Jess showed that Hungry Huey game ..pressed the button and it burped and one of the girls said "that is disgusting why would I stick my hand in there?" Seemed like a rational statement and off they went playing about ;D ..I put the 3D film on projector screen and that lasted 4 nano seconds then put on "Nightmare before Christmas" and that settled them for a bit. all in all they enjoyed it.

I saw the madness of people buying stuff a couple of days before and there were folks were trick or treating which that surprised me so I think you are right it's catching more and more on.. :)
