Career change
« on: November 03, 2005, 08:32:18 PM »
I've recently done a complete career change.  I've gone from working in HR to being a trainee electrical engineer.

And it's the 2nd best thing I've ever done in my life.  (Marrying David being the first.   [smiley=love.gif])

I just wanted to encourage everyone to follow their dreams and enjoy their working lives as much as possible.  :)

Ask and ye shall be babbled at.

Good for you!  I am thinking of doing the same, after finding myself stuck in yet another crappy, deadend job.  Weighing options such as returning for a post grad degree in law or social work or...? :)

Aww, babe, that's fantastic news.

Getting paid for doing what you love is always a good thing.
There are two things in life for which we are never truly prepared:  twins.
