Hiya peeps
Iam very happy to have found this site,and look foward in meeting everyone.I met my hubby over four years ago,lived in London for 8 months,then we moved back here to the US .
We are now going back over the pond,and Iam very excited about it  :)I just wish it was today,I hate the waiting part :D LOL.

Welcome Rhia!  Love the quotation!  I know all about the waiting.... for I am in the same situation.  Will you be returning to the London area or somewhere else?

Hiya again all,
Ty ladies glad to be here :)No vnicepeeps,we will be moving this time to Stockton-On -Tees,and while London was very amazing at times to this KY gal,I wouldnt want to live there again,very expensive,and alot of peeps.I remember trying to get on the train in the morning to take my daughter to school :o
My MIN bless her,lives in Stockton,and is not so well.So we want to be closer to her this time(along with my Step-daughter,and our grandbabies,oh how I miss them!)
Yeppers this is one girl that gets along well with her MIN,she is a very lovely lady,and raised a wonderful son ;)

Hi Rhia I also hate the waiting part but I'm so glad you are with your husband.  That surely has to help.  Welcome to the site.

Hiya Kizmet122800,and ty it does help having my hubby :)
I know the last time we lived there,I did feel a bit isolated.We wasnt really close to his family,and Iam very shy in person to meet ppls.
This time though, I plan on first of all working when Iam allowed,and getting out and meeting ppls.I think it really does help you esp in a foreign country!My hubby is the opposite of me though,he is very outgoing and has no problems with fitting in.It didnt take him long in this small town we live in,but then again you dont see many brits in this little town,so he was the town  talk for awhile!LOL

Rhia then hopefully you will find a friend or two here that live close by.  Wouldn't that be a surprise to your hubby?  lol  Will he be joining you on the site as well?  You know, the more the merrier here.

Welcome to the site Rhia!  And good luck on your big move back.  I'm in London and I can totally relate to you not really being too keen on moving back here after life in KY!  I'm from that area myself...mostly the South Central area...Bowling Green/Franklin...that sort of thing. My family is all just outside of Nashville.  I'm heading to Louisville for a week in December tho to stay with my best friend and her new baby so I'm soooooo looking forward to that!

Anyway, good luck and nice to meet you!  :)

Yep  Kizmet122800 that would be wonderful to meet some ppls that are on here,and living close to me!I met one lady in London through one of my British friends.I fixed my friend and her a Thanksgiving dinner(imagine trying to find all the ingredients for that in London! lmao)She really enjoyed it though ;)Hehehehe,my hubby was reading with me this morning some of the post,and I will ask him if he liked to join this site,ty.
 Hiya Wishstar and ty.Wow how cool that you are from KY too ;D I will be happy to be out of London this time,and will be further north.My Step-daughter said that ppls in the north talk abit different,but I know its like here in the states different regions different ways of talking etc.....
I was born and spent most of my life in Louisville,now Iam in a verrrrrrrrry small town outside of Elizabethtown.How small the world really is! LOL
