phd help!
« on: November 18, 2005, 12:25:50 PM »
Hi everyone,

I'm hoping you can help me! I've recently begun a PhD thesis at Middlesex University on the topic of how and why different cultures stigmatise people with mental illness. I'm studying four UK migrant cultures - Greeks, Chinese, English (non- migrant), and Americans. I've just began collecting data, and I'm hoping (extremely hoping!) that we could arrange to meet up so you can complete one of my questionnaires, and/or get suggestions from you on where I might be able to meet other Americans in or around London. I can travel to meet you at a place of your convenience and it takes about 10-15 minutes to do.

Let me know what you think and whether you're ok to do this.

Best wishes,

Chris Papadopoulos

The questionnaire was originally designed for a pen and paper completion but it is possible to do electronically. I originally intended only to do the questionnaires in that format, but now because I'm so desperate I really don't mind people doing it electronically either. You can find it here:

If you do it, please email it to me at: newcomer link: mailto:chris@chrispaps.freeserve.co.uk [nonactive]

Thanks!
