Pizzelle iron or Anise oil?
« on: December 08, 2005, 03:51:41 PM »
Hi everyone! I got here safe and sound a week ago and am still feeling like I'm on vacation! It's hard to believe I'm actually living here with the love of my life. All is so similar but oddly different. I'm sure the 'settling in' process will be slow. As an  Italian/American I am in search of a pizzelle iron and anise oil for my Chritmas baking. I had my Great Gran's iron in the states but didn't bring along because of the different outlets. I used to get anise oil in pharmacies at home. Any suggestions? I've scoured the mall and cook shops.

I was googling around and I found alot of references to pizzelle irons on UK web pages but no irons.  They make stove top ones that might work.  You might be able to get one from Italy.

Dream a dream of England .......... Some day
