One way to London
« on: December 12, 2005, 09:16:31 PM »
Just wanted to let anyone who is looking for a one way ticket to London to check orbitz.com.

I just booked a flight from Newark to Heathrow on Virgin Airlines (Jan 7th) for $240.00 USD, that is including taxes!
I checked Virgin's website and the same ticket was $700+.
(Don't mean this to be an add for Orbitz  :))

good price.

Once you book you should call the airline. Gate people get weird about one way international tickets, even if you have the proper visa.
I got that as advise from my travel agent when I came over and the toll free call was worth the time to keep things smooth at check in.
She had a few clients who were refused a boarding pass when flying on a one way ticket, so it was good advise. I went right through.
