Try estateangels.com. It seems to be pretty unbiased and sends emails to me with a lot of useful information. Good luck!

It's not a website, but Which! publishes a book that gives an overview of the whole process that we found helpful. Then our first step really was a mortgage consultant, to get preapproved and know what price range we could be looking in. The hardest part about the process for us was finding something within our budget in this crazy property market.  If all goes well we'll be moving in mid-January.

Good Luck.
Stop waiting. Start doing.

A good site to see a wide variety of houses is www.vebra.co.uk. Vebra is the database that a good deal of estate agents use to post houses on. So you'll get loads of different estate agent sites.

Jon and I are hoping to buy a house in a few months. It's so scary! Good luck!

Please keep this thread updated, if possible. It will be some time before I can buy but I'm hoping to as early as possible after moving.
