Cool whip
« on: October 10, 2003, 02:26:48 AM »
Do they carry cool whip here or something along the same lines?  Not looking for actually whipped cream...want the non-dairy stuff from the freezer section.

Thanks

Kathy

I have seen it, though it was a bit like spotting Big Foot.  I've never tried it, but I have seen a non dairy frozen whipped cream at Iceland in Glasgow and (I think) at my local Morrisons, but after spotting it once I never found it again.  Your best chance will probably be around Christmas time when they bring out all the weird and wonderful things in the freezer sections across the country.

For my cool-whip substitute, I use the powdered Bird's Dream Topping.  Works pretty well.  Not exactly the same, but good enough to get me by!

Hate to tell you all this but Cool Whip has added a flavor.  They now make french vanilla cool whip.  I have to say its pretty good.  They are also making a berry (I think) flavor for spring time.  Yum
