hi folks. We are going on Tuesday to apply for FLR, and we made some arrangements to get some documents that would be proof of co-residency and some others for the financial requirement. Yes I am aware that often they dont ask for the co-residency docs for FLR but the guy on the phone in Glasgow PEO said we should bring them when I asked this question.
These docs were a letter from the council adding me to the taxrolls addressed to both of us, my husband's bank account statement (the last one we have goes 3 months, but ends on 3 January) and the two new debit cards for the joint bank account. I am currently waiting on a call back from the bank guy, the woman answering the phone at the bank branch says that the account's not been made joint (we signed the paperwork on saturday. what could be going on?)
without these documents we have: pay stubs for husband (december, november, no october we cant find it, september and further back) bank statement (3 months but goes thru January 3rd) christmas cards and letters and one w2 from my old job with my name and new address affixed with a sticker, my printed retirement acc't statement, (internet) one Boots prescription bag with a sticker with the top line of my address, passports nad marriage cert, and various papers stating husband's employment and benefits for this year.
should we risk the 500 pounds and go for the appointment on Tuesday?
