Driving Miss Roisin
« on: February 02, 2006, 06:46:07 PM »
Roisin still has her days and nights mixed up - she's 7 weeks old, after all.  Or maybe she's just a night owl.  Anyhow, she usually doesn't settle for a stretch till 2-3AM.  B/c her elder sister wakes up at around 7.30 in the morning, Andrew and I take it in turn caring for Roisin or Aillidh - one going to bed earlier and then occupying the toddler till Princess Roisin wakens, usually around 10 in the morning.

When it's Andrew's night, he usually takes the baby a long drive after midnight.

I felt sort of sorry for him, so I told him I'd take tonight.

It was then he admitted . . . he actually likes doing the nights, as he's a natural night owl.  And he secretly looks forward to the drives, as he's been scouting out Edinburgh, the East and West Lothians and the Central Belt.  So THAT'S why the tank's always running low in the car!

Well, he wants nights, he can have 'em!  Sorted!!   ;D
