Hmm. I heard about this. Need to check w/our GP, b/c Roisin starts her jabs next week, but doesn't finish them till April. I have an appointment for her to have them done privately starting next week, but it's £75 for the course.
For the older baby or toddler, there's the Pneumovax vaccine, which you can also source privately and which also protects against pneumoccocal disease.
It's worth it to me, b/c pneumoccocal causes a lot of ear infections as well.
