My husband surprised me for Christmas with a glider. When we had gone shopping for the kids' Christmas, I saw one that was at a price we could afford in the toy store's baby section. I have always secretly wanted one from when I was pregnant with my daughter, but they are expensive and I just never thought we could get one. But they are so comfy and sitting in the display ones in Mothercare or when I was visiting home at Babies R Us just increased my secret desire. Finally, when he was asking what I would like for Christmas I blurted it out. Nothing else, no other present, just please, the glider. From then on, he made points about how tight things were, and how he wasn't sure what he'd get me but he hoped I would like it, and I just assumed I was going to be getting something else, maybe a Lush gift certificate or something.
Christmas eve, and I finally got the toys put together, the presents laid out, everything in its place and ready for the kids in the morning. Exhausted, I went to bed. Christmas morning, I went down first to get the camera and be ready to get snaps of my daughter's face as she first glimpsed the tree and its goodies. I open the sitting room door only to find my neatly arranged room blocked by two giant boxes! I was SO! Mad! My first thought was that for some reason my husband had brought the boxes that I'd filled with trash back in from outside. I couldn't believe he would mess up the room like that! Then I looked at the boxes and saw the magic words: Cosatto.
Not only did he get the glider I dreamed of, he got the ottoman, too. He kept it a secret the whole time and managed to sneak them in with the help of a neighbor and I had absolutely
no idea. It was great. I never thought I'd be happy getting only a rocking chair for Christmas but here I am.
And he was chuffed because it wasn't that expensive, and when he went back to get it, the combo was on sale. LOL.
Anyway. I LOVE it.

It's a great glider. And I have found both my husband and daughter sitting in it when they think no one is watching.
