Orlando Sanford airport?

Does anyone have any advice regarding how much of a pain in the ars* it would be to get from Orlando Sanford to 'proper' Orlando airport?

Im seeing some ridiculously cheap fares from Glasgow to Sanford, but my onward journey to Amarillo would probably have to be from the other/main Orlando airport.

it is a major pain in the ass!

Sanford is used mainly for charter flights...it is about 25 mins. away from the center of Orlando and the airport

i found some really cheap flights from the IOM to DFW via Gatwick I bet you could get something similar..when do you want to go?

you can fly glasgow to LGW and direct to DFW no stopovers...

I was just trying to go the cheapest way possible, but... i've found a flight from Edinburgh to Amarillo for £402.17 on Continental through Travelocity... that's not too dear, and works out about the same price as the Sanford nightmare.

(that's travelling 30 Oct, and returning on 6 Nov, btw... in case you know of something cheaper!  )

It's not that bad now that they have the Greenway for future reference.  (Especially if you are renting a car anyway) 

I wasnt going to be renting a car... i was hoping there would be some sort of shuttle bus between the 2 airports, otherwise, i would have looked for a taxi.   Thanks for the tip, though!

That's sounds pretty good to me..cheaper than my BA flights in November when I want to go back..........Mine were £420.00

But for me that is a really good price cause it includes getting of the IOM!
