I just had an email from an alum from my university who needs help from Fresh 'n' Wild shoppers. She must have just sent out a blanket email to all alums living in the UK. Anyway, she works at what may be one of my dream jobs! She oversees the "secret shopper" program for Whole Foods (in the US) and Fresh 'n' Wild (in the UK). She's looking for people to help out with either the Bristol Fresh 'n' Wild or any of the three London shops (Stoke Newington, Notting Hill and Camden Town).

My company manages secret shopper programs for different retailers. One of them is Whole Foods Market. They recently purchased a health food market in the UK called Fresh N' Wild. I will start helping them with this market in April.
The program is pretty simple. You would get a 20 pound gift certificate. You would go during a mutually agreed upon week. You would do your shopping as your normally would. I ask that you create at least 3-5 interactions in store with the workers there. You would be looking at whether the store is tidy, whether it is fully stocked, and how responsive the employees are to your queries. You would fill out a survey form and write up a (minimum) 2 page narrative on your visit. I do request, though, that you do not bring kids on your shop visit and you must be willing to spend at least 30 minutes in the store and some time after to do the report.
You must be a regular customer in order to do this program. You must be objective and straightforward - I am not looking for a complaint list! It is a program that is designed to help with training, improve cleanliness, and ultimately customer satisfaction.
If you are a regular, how often do you shop (e.g., 2x/week), and which location (s) do you frequent? I would like to know what products you typically buy there.
I would need your home address as well so that I can send you an instruction sheet and the gift certificate the week before the scheduled shop. I am now booking for April, May, and June slots. Let me know if you would like to try it!
