Our visa application package
« on: February 26, 2006, 07:41:53 PM »
Hi Everyone,

well it has come to the point where we are about to apply for our fiance visa, we just have a question or two we would like you advice on

Firstly, my fiance hasn't sent his birth certificate to me, but he has sent his passport, now i have read that they need either birth certificate or passport, is this true, or do we need to wait for him to send birth certificate before applying.

Another question, my fiance has sent all his details such as bank account statements, job details and anything showing he can support us in uk. Do i need to include my bank statements and details too.

I did not include my fiancĂ©'s birth certificate with my visa application, just his passport.  I did include my bank statements.

Hello again everyone,

So we have filled in the VAF2 online for our fiance visa and are getting ready to mail in our package.  I would like to throw out a few questions, any advice is once again much appreciated.

ok so we have all of the information that is required ie proof of income financial ability housing etc, but while organizing this folder I am wondering how one would put it together.  Maybe I'm over thinking it but is there a specific way anyone put together their application or is it ok to put everything in a generaly organized way but not have notes on every page telling what is what etc.  (sorry if this is a silly question)

Also we are sending in the payment by mail since we made a mistake when applying online with our debit card.    I am applying for myself and my two children so do I need to send in 3 seperate cashiers checks or can i do all in one.

EEEEEEEEK, its gettting very close.  I might be sweating the small stuff here but would really like to get all of the little details sorted so we can send this in the next day or two.  And then we can really start sweating during the wait.  eeek..

Thank you again everyone for all of your help.  It has been much appreciated.  Hopefully this will be sent in the next day or two.  I'll let you all know how it goes   [smiley=anxious.gif]

Thanks again

Learea

you'll only need a birth certificate if he doesnt have a passport. Since he does have one. Theres no need for the birth certificate
