Hi Nance and welcome aboard and thanks for coming to say hi!

While my husband wound up coming here to the US I would say that it is most definately worth it so long as you look out for you as well as him.

Hope to see more posts in the future!

Hiya Nancy.  Great to meet you.  All the best of luck to you in Dublin.  I've not moved over yet.  But with all the upheaval I feel its really worth it.  I could not imagine living with anyone else.  Hopefully I will still be saying that a year from now.  lol

Hi Nance,

I am your old neighbor from Maryland...  just moved to northern England 2 weeks ago after a 3 year wait to be with my fiance...  It is well worth it... of course, being new here to england...my homesickness is making me a bit off...  but that I am sure is do to no car, no job and no close villages to walk to at the moment... I have bright hopes and good thoughts for the future...so I expect after a few months, life here will be great.

Welcome to UKY and good luck with your move...

Shel you said a nasty word!  We don't like snow here!!!!
Did you know that several places just north of Boston got a total of 38 inches of snow  :o

When you get that much snow, it quickly loses its pretty postcard appeal.  You dig?    hehehe Get it, you dig?  hahahahaha ok ok I know I know too much snow.  I was housebound all weekend.  I've got cabin fever but I'll get better soon.  lol
