ok....the closest i can get to finding anything is by going to the NHS website (
http://www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk/localisation/), clicking on "find local doctors", putting in my postal code, then clicking find. once the local practices come up, you can click on each one to get their opening times, location, etc., then on the far right there is a "staff" link. if you click on that, it will give you all the names of the Dr.'s in the practice and lists their qualifications.
example:
DR STEPHEN BROOKE
Male
Qualifications: MA;MBBS;DA;DRCOG;DCH
so i guess from there i could look up what each of those of those qualifications means. but it stil doesn't tell me what the dr.'s is like (age, continuing education, personality, etc.). i know that those things aren't exactly a necessity to know when seeing a Dr., but it tells alot about a person. i don't want to go to a Dr. and have him make me feel like i'm just "another patient". i want the Dr. to genuinely be concerned about my health and make decisions on whats best for me...not the cheapest, easiest, fastest route.
