what happens when I arrive in the UK?

Ok got my visa and am all excited One week!! WOO!

So when the time comes and I am in that line, do I just hand them my passport? Im assuming its been coded into my passport or whatever, but last time they couldnt scan my passport for some reason. Do I tell them I have a visa? Or what?

Ive just been through too much to end up having them wondering hehe

And totally non relevant question, but how do they decide where it goes? Its in the middle, was it just random placement or is there a method to their madness?

I always put my landing card inside my passport, on top of my visa so when they open it, they see my visa right off.  You don't have to tell them anything.  It's all in your passport.  They may ask you about your prior refusal but just answer honestly.  Answer their questions, don't offer more information than they ask and be calm.  You got the visa.  Why would they refuse you entry?  Easy, they won't.
