Flying transatlantic with a toddler

Yes, I've done it, twice now. I've found that flying nonstop is easier. I brought some new books and a new toy or two, that he'd not played with yet, brought them out when he started to get grumpy. When we flew Virgin, they give kids a bag with some toys and crayons and coloring book and such in it. Basically, it's not that bad. My son slept about half the flight, I just laid him down on his seat, with his legs across my lap, and I draped a blanket over his chair to block out the light.

It can be easy if you bring a few books,toys ,etc.If all else fails there is always Calpol
