Craziness...

Hi All...

Just thought I'd come in and vent since people here know how crazy this LDR stuff is...all is well with me and my Englishman, but have a bit of a worry at the moment. The great part is I fly out in 21 days to see him, but the worry part is that 3 days prior to my arrival he has to have an angiogram and I hate the fact I can't be there - he wants me to, but said he would rather be feeling better after his test and know that we get quality time together. He'll be fine (or at least that is what I am telling myself) and once I am there I'll feel a lot better.

Some prayers from the group would be great around March 15th that his test goes well.

Hi All:

Thought I'd come and give an update...everything went well with the test, he'll live!!  Great news is we got engaged!!  I couldn't be happier and now I get to start the "craziness" of a wedding in the UK, a move, and anything else that comes along with this. I've read a lot of stuff here and it has helped immensely thus far and imagine it will in the days ahead.

Congratulations!!  That's great!!!

Congratulations both of you. I've been in a similar situation but it is me who goes through doctors appointments and wishing my boyfriend were right there to give me strength. I had a painful biopsy on a lump in my neck and he wasn't there to squeeze my hand and keeping me from getting upset. I wish you well on your journey.
