Thinking about going across the pond....

Cool, I hear that's a great university, and it has an awesome student union. (I've been there many times!  ) If you want to know anything else just ask.

I thought I read that the maximum age for a student visa is 28.  Does anyone know if that is correct?  Thanks.

I too am thinking about uni in Scotland.  Is there anyone who has attended Stirling University and can comment on it?  And any mature students who are studying undergrad in Scotland; how was the acceptance process?  Did they ask for high-school transcripts and SAT's, or just proof of graduation(diploma)?  I started college but only got through 2years.  I know I'll have to show those college transcipts.
I've also heard that work experience is taken into account for mature students.  How is it applied?
And does a student visa in Scotland differ because of the Fresh Talent scheme?  I've heard you can stay up to 2 years after graduation as long as you are pursuing work in Scotland.  Any ideas?

Just to set something straight, I am in a Masters program for INternational Studies. What I described earlier may be more true for post grad study and not for undergrad.
