Makes me think of the Head of the Charles in Cambridge, MA.  I used to go every year, boy do I miss that.

I just got back from the race.  Oxford won it by 3 boat lengths.  It was good fun to spend the afternoon drinking on the Thames, though I wish today was Saturday and not Sunday, so I can sober up before going to work tomorrow.   :P

I just got back from Putney where I watched the beginning. Had a blast!

WoooHOOOO! With Cambridge being the odds on favorite all winter, I was glad to see Oxford win. I tend to be and underdog sort of guy. I think though, on smooth water, Cambridge may have come out on top. Was anyone actually at the race?

Any other crew nuts out there? I rowed for Wichita State for 2 1/2 seasons, and have missed it horribly ever since.
