Travel ideas for kids(not U.S.)
« on: April 03, 2006, 11:58:17 AM »
Another post got me thinking, we've never been ones to be stopped going places because of babies, toddlers and kids.  Some of our best holidays have been with kids attached.  Our best was probably Brittany-gorgeous beaches with just enough cultural stuff and shopping for the kids to keep everybody interested.  In the UK, I'd reccomend Cornwall or Somerset-lovely places where they can get outdoors and run free. Or Blackpoor, which is just the funnest place you can go with kids.  They love it.  Other places we've taken the kids are Orkney, Wales, Devon, Amsterdam, Paris, Spain and Ireland.

Anyone else been any where fun that they'd reccomend?  Any tips?

Great idea, I am going to really need this soon.  Besides the fab Disney Cruise that MeShell and I will go on :P

My SIL just told me that she and her husband are taking their almost 1 year old to Greece.  An all inclusive place that is kid friendly with a Crèche and nannies available as well.  I'll ask her where.  They also went to Spain when Katie was 3 months old and had a great time.

We had a great time in Spain too-just avoid the really hot months and the Club18-24 type places.  ;)
