« on: April 11, 2006, 10:25:46 AM »
I am going away for a few days in Holland with the kids. If we bring their PS2 will it work on the continent?? If anyone could help me with my query I would appreciate it.

Yes, it will work, you will just need a wall plug adaptor from UK to EU standard.

We are visiting friends for Easter that live in Haarlem.
I do not want to spend this weekend at home. Blackheath has both Zippos circus and a funfair on the heath this weekend and I hate "those" types of cash funfairs.  With three children it is usually less expensive to spend the day at Disneyworld than to spend a few hours at the fair.

The composite video output of any games console or similar device is compatible with the matching composite input on most European TV sets (the main exception could be France, as they use the SECAM color system instead of PAL, but even then, most modern TVs in France will actually accept either type of video signal).

Direct RGB connections will work almost anywhere.   The biggest incompatibility is if you have a video game which needs to connect via an RF lead (i.e. you then "tune it in" on the set).

Oooh would I be really bad if I neglected to mention to DH that the circus is at Blackheath?  Because he would be there in about a half of a second.   :-\\\\
